One of the main goals of Life4me+ — is to prevent new cases of HIV and other STIs, hepatitis C and tuberculosis.

The app helps to establish anonym communication between physicians and HIV-positive people. It allows you to conveniently organize your medication intake timetable and set concealed and personalized reminders.

For Life4me+ 2021 was all about “Respect my HIV”

For Life4me+, 2021 was a very busy year. Despite the fact that everyone had to learn to live in the reality of COVID-19, it was a year of scientific success in the field of HIV - after the stagnation of 2020.

2021 was a year of new information projects and conferences dedicated to HIV, vaccination and therapy. Our organisation took part in a wide range of important events and continued to actively share the information learnt with the wider community.

In addition, the Life4me+ team launched the large-scale RespectMyHIV campaign, which was unveiled at the European AIDS Conference in London. The purpose of the campaign is to promote a positive attitude towards all people who differ from the majority in any way - be that gender, nationality, sexual orientation, HIV status, etc. The main event of this event was a march through the streets of London under the banner "Respect my HIV", which was attended by more than 400 people.

Life4me+, for the first time, supported the summer camp for children living with HIV in the Eastern Europe and Central Asia region, which was held in June 2021 in Sochi.

36 teenagers from different parts of the region took part in the camp, and an online race in support of children living with HIV was also held. Participants of the race from 20 countries completed a distance of 6,864 km and "earned" 10,000 euros for the next children's camp in 2022.

The main activity of Life4me+ is to raise people's awareness of HIV, viral hepatitis and tuberculosis, as well as to combat stigma and discrimination in society. We do this, in particular, by publishing information about scientific achievements, changes in politics and legislation, social innovations and much more.

In 2021, we published 1,351 news articles in Russian, English, German, Arabic and French. We continued our activity on social networks, and since October 2021 we have started promoting our work on TikTok and have collected more than 16,600 followers in two months. And in our collection of personal stories, called "Collage”, last year we completed 49 interviews with heroes from different countries of the EECA region.

In 2022, Life4me+ will continue its information activities as before, we will help people in difficult situations and conduct educational programs for children and adolescents living with HIV.

You can read more about the activities and projects of the organisation in the our 2021 Annual Report
