Anthony Fauci: "Undetectable it is Untransmittable"

Anthony Fauci the Director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases of the United States (NIAID / NIH) stated that science has sufficient grounds to assert that the thesis Undetectable = Untransmittable (U = U) is absolutely true tt  the USCA-2017 Annual AIDS Conference in Washington last week, Uncertain viral load in an HIV-positive person is his absolute safety for an uninfected partner with unprotected sex.

This was announced this morning by the famous New York HIV activist, the founder of the Prevention Access Campaign's "Undetectable = Untransmittable" Bruce Richman. In his opinion, this is a historical moment.

People at high risk of becoming HIV-positive, use PrEP as preventative HIV care, may practice unprotected sex, also forgetting about sexual transmitted diseases. We shouldn't forget - PrEP is not a defend from all the sexually transmitted diseases, PrEP doesn’t protect our health from the STI.

People who use PrEP usually behave more carefully and always pass routine tests and consultations by their treating doctors. Specialists  from the UK have noted a 24% improvement in cases of gonorrhea among the individuals using PrEP - so if a person using PrEP found some disease they are more likely to treat it as soon as possible and to pass the needed treatment to avoid the transmission of the disease.
