From November 1st 2021, Life4me+ will be under new leadership as Life4me+ President and Founder Alex Schneider transfers the management of the organisation to Liliya Ten.

Life4me+ is an international non-governmental organization (NGO) working in the field of HIV and digital technologies. The organisation supports people living with HIV, monitors the quality of patient care, and collaborates with health systems and other NGOs around the world. In addition, the organisation currently is promoting a mobile application for people living with HIV called Life4me+. The app is available in 15 languages and 156 countries around the world.

In the countries of Eastern Europe and Central Asia (EECA), the information portal Life4me+ is well recognised, publishing objective and up-to-date information on HIV, hepatitis and other related topics. Life4me+ is also known for its awareness campaigns. In 2017, the organisation launched an international campaign sharing the “Undetectable = Untransmittable” (U=U) message in the EECA region, translating the facts and messaging into Russian (N=N).

In 2019, in partnership with European organizations, Life4me+ launched the #NoHIVstigma campaign. Launched ahead of the European AIDS Conference (EACS2019), the campaign culminated in a peaceful march through the streets of Basel, Switzerland, reaching an audience of millions. In 2021, the Life4me+ launched the #RespectMyHIV anti-discrimination campaign and a series of campaigns in support of children living with HIV: “Don't miss it” and “Race in support of children living with HIV”.

Four years after the founding of Life4me+, Alex Schneider moves to the pharmaceutical company ViiV Healthcare. Schneider is proud of his team and the work done and admits that he is sad to be leaving the organisation, but also has peace of mind, as he leaves it in good hands.

Liliya Ten has been part of the Life4me+ team almost since its inception. Lilia brings with her many years of international experience in the non-profit sector, is knowledgeable of the HIV situation facing countries of the EECA region, she has also participated in the implementation of all Life4me+’s projects.

“Under my leadership, Life4me+ will continue to pursue its goals. We will cover important topics in the field of HIV and other infections. We will talk about how to live well with them, and how to protect ourselves from possible infection,” Ten said.

The Life4me+ team wishes Lilia good luck in her new position, and looks forward to collaborating on new, interesting, and useful projects!
